There’s nothing quite like the joy of a new baby! Capturing these precious moments with a professional photographer was a must for loving parents Bethany and Clay. They brought their daughter, Ava, and their newborn, Crew, to my studio for our newborn session! 

This blog post has some of my favorite highlights from this newborn photography session. I can’t wait to share it all with you, so let me know which image is your favorite!

Bethany and Clay welcomed their newest addition to the family on February 23, 2023. Then, when they contacted me to capture their family’s special moments, it was thrilling to help create lasting memories for them! They were eager to add to their family’s gallery wall, which is situated in their hallway.

Baby Crew was the cutest little thing, with his little hands and feet, chubby cheeks, and adorable expressions. When he sleeps, he looks so angelic! At birth, he was a healthy baby, weighing almost 11 pounds.

His big sister Ava, who is three years old, was so excited to be included in the photoshoot. She danced around the set, weaving in and out of the curtains and exploring everything she could. Ava was so eager to show off her little brother, too! She blew him kisses and played with his tiny hands. Without a doubt, she’s going to be a great big sister.

Bethany and Clay beamed with pride and joy, and their love for their children was evident in every shot. We then moved on to capture some beautiful images of baby Crew. Then, Ava joined in for some adorable sibling shots.

Bethany and Clay were a pleasure to work with. Without a doubt, their love for each other and their children was so heartwarming. I wanted to get to know everyone a little better during our session, so I asked for some fun facts about everyone participating! Bethany shared that she had a minor in Chinese that she never uses, and Clay had just started his own engineering business. Ava’s initials also spell out her name. It was great getting to know this wonderful family and hear about their lives.

As a professional photographer, I understand the importance of capturing those special moments in life, and I strive to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for my clients. That way, they can also have photographs that truly reflect who they are as individuals and as a family. I think we succeeded, for sure!
