Psalms 127 3-4 Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.
Introducing Jess Cole Law III.
Do you ever pray for your kid’s friends? Ok, Worth is only 2 and he doesn’t exactly have a choice who he gets to hang around. But one day, he will. And it’s a scary, scary place we live in. I pray the Lord fills Worth’s paths with kids who come from God fearing homes. Kids who know a good butt whooping is coming from their mom and dad if they break rules (hence keeping them from doing it.) Kids who I don’t have a single worry if Worth is spending time over at their house because I know their parent’s morals standards are high. This sweet baby is definitely an answer to that prayer.
Jess’ daddy and my husband are best friends. They have talked about taking their sons hunting together since before either of them had kids. Looking at Jess’ newborn photos makes my heart swell to a whole new place. While I’ll obsess over every single newborn that comes to my studio, Jess is one of the few that will be sitting at my dinner table one day. Not only will he be sitting there, we will probably be eating meat that him and my son, Worth, killed together.
While I desperately want time to stop and keep my toddler a toddler forever, I know God has big things in store for the future. Some of Jess’ and Worth’s best memories will be made beside one another with their daddy’s behind them. Oh, my cup runith over, y’all!
Congratulations, Jennifer and Cole! Jess is perfect and so, so handsome. We could not be more happy for y’all!
